Roger will develop WTS UK’s private client offering and work with the firm's global network to advise families on tax and succession planning. He joins from a global family office, where he was Head of Tax, having previously been a Partner at Blick Rothenberg. Roger brings over 25 years of experience in personal tax planning, advising UK and international family offices and entrepreneurs on inheritance tax, income tax, stamp duty land tax and capital gains tax.

Julian spent more than 22 years at EY, becoming a Partner in 2017. From 2018 to 2025, he led its Corporate Transaction Tax team, advising across the full transaction lifecycle and developing particular sector expertise in TMT, life sciences, betting and gaming.
Having become a Partner at EY in 2021, Kat brings more than 19 years’ experience advising private equity houses and corporates on the tax aspects of acquisitions and disposals, with particular expertise in TMT and creative industries.
Jeff Soar, Partner and CEO of WTS UK, said: “We are delighted to welcome Julian, Kat and Roger to the team. Their depth of expertise reflects the ambition we have for WTS UK and significantly strengthens the support we can offer our clients across transaction tax and private client advisory.”
Julian Broughton, Partner at WTS UK, said: “I’m delighted to be joining WTS UK as it establishes itself as a genuine challenger in the market. This is a rare opportunity to help shape a technology and AI-led tax advisory business purpose-built for today’s market.”
