Katrina Sahlberg is a Partner at WTS UK’s Transactions Tax practice, with two decades of specialised transaction experience advising private equity houses and multinational corporates (including high net worth clients/founder-led businesses) on the complex tax aspects of acquisitions and disposals.

Her expertise spans cross-border tax structuring and comprehensive buy-side and sell-side due diligence, consistently mitigating risk and optimising transaction value across multiple jurisdictions. She builds a trusted partner relationship with C-suite, tax teams and other stakeholders, seamlessly translating intricate international tax into strategic, commercial deal advice.

Katrina started her career with KPMG and spent 15 years with EY, focusing on Transactions for both corporate and private equity clients. Katrina was a Partner at EY from 2021 to 2026, and led the Transaction Tax team specialising in technology, media and telecoms.

Katrina holds a BA in Economics from Richmond the American International University in London and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAS).
